It features a dual-layer construction that combines the optimal properties of cellulose-based and polypropylene-based materials. Inner Layer: This absorbent wetlaid nonwoven layer is composed of cellulose, synthetic binder, and PET fibers. It offers superior moisture pass-through performance, contributing to a softer and stronger cellulose-based fabric. Outer Layer: Made from 100% polypropylene using SMS (Spunbond-Meltblown-Spunbond) technology, this layer is strong, durable, and treated to resist static charge. It provides a high barrier against fluids and microorganisms. This dual-layer construction enables a significant reduction in drying time—by approximately 30–40%—compared to traditional sterilization wraps. The improved moisture absorption minimizes the risk of wet packs, which can compromise sterility and necessitate reprocessing.
