Description Enhanced Observation The Pulsar Forward FN455 combines the F455 digital night vision front attachment with Pulsar’s 5×30 monocular to create a fully-fledged handheld digital night vision device. Featuring a highly sensitive 1280×720 CMOS sensor, a 50mm f1.1 objective lens, and cutting-edge signal processing algorithms, this device will achieve a high-definition image with precise detail rendering — providing exceptional detection and identification capabilities in near-total darkness at a range of up to 500m. Extended Detection Provided with a detachable, high power (940nm) IR illuminator with three adjustable power levels, the Forward FN455 will extend your observation capabilities and allow you to choose your preferred effective range. SumLight Sensitivity Algorithms The intuitive SumLight function increases the Forward FN455’s sensor sensitivity, allowing for passive observation in low light and at night (without the need for the IR illuminator). SumLight will increase the sensitivity whilst preserving image quality by automatically activating these algorithms. Built-in Video Recording Built-in video recording (with audio) and still image capture allows you to capture all the memorable moments from your observations, storing them to the device’s 16GB internal storage, or to the cloud via the Stream Vision app. Up to 9 Hours Operating Time A self-contained, quick-release B-Pack power supply system uses an IPS7 (6.5 Ah) battery to provide up to 9 hours of battery life (depending on temperature), keeping your observations going well into the night. High-powered IPS10 (10Ah) and IPS14 (13.2Ah) battery packs can also be used (purchase separately). IMPORTANT INFORMATION Taking Thermal & Night Vision Outside of the UK. Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK. Additionally, some countries may be embargoed, and no thermal imagers or night vision devices can be taken or exported to them.
