Description Nitrogen Purged Optical Path The Pulsar Phantom’s housing is rugged and reliable thanks to its high-grade, glass-filled, plastic composite construction, withstanding everyday bumps, knocks, and scrapes. This digital night vision riflescope can be used in any weather conditions thanks to its weatherproof characteristics. A nitrogen-purged optical channel prevents fogging that can occur when moving between varying environmental conditions, temperature drops, and humidity. Internal Focusing The Phantom’s optical system employs an internal focusing mechanism (from 5m to infinity) with “definite†click-stop focus positions. Provides clear images at incredibly short distances and optimises quality at all distances within the riflescope’s working range. Attachable IR Illuminator An optional removeable IR illuminator can be adjusted to offer a variable beam, from spot to flood, enhancing night-time detection capabilities and visibility in total darkness. Selectable Reticle The Phantom MD features a selectable, two-colour Mil-Dot reticle (red-on-green or green-on-green). This reticle will blink when the battery is low, indicating that batteries should be replaced within 15-30 minutes. Weaver 7/8†Rail A weaver 7/8†rail on the left side of the Phantom riflescope is designed for the mounting of additional accessories, including IR flashlights, DSAS, and red dot lasers. Power Supply The Phantom can be powered both with a single AA (1.5V) battery or CR123A (3V) battery. The stabilised voltage of the power supply prevents reticle shift and any drop in reticle brightness and guarantees proper operation of the tube and IR illuminator — even when the batteries are nearly empty. The Phantom’s batteries are aligned vertically, enhancing the reliability of the energy supply when recoiling. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Taking Thermal & Night Vision Outside of the UK. Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK. Additionally, some countries may be embargoed, and no thermal imagers or night vision devices can be taken or exported to them.
